One of the worlds leading full-range suppliers of intelligent system solutions for building management, Gira, is proud to be one of the most influential players in the development of building digitalisation.
Setting design and function trends to succeed pioneering work, innovative solutions and noteworthy applications, Gira, has established itself as an award-winning innovator in the field of perceptive ‘Intelligent Building Technology’ and specification.
From the beginning, Gira has given special importance to ensuring the highest levels of functionality and reliability for its products, as well as devote keen investment on design attributes and lasting aesthetic appeal. Instead, each concept design is developed over several stages of assessment which looks at the interaction between design, function, technical innovation and emotion.
‘Made in Germany’, Gira products and property solutions epitomise high quality manufacturing to produce reliable, safe and durable home automation. The numerous prestigious international awards received, like the “iF Award“, “Red Dot Award” and “German Design Award“, are testaments to the exceptional design quality of Gira: where design and function come alive.
Gira has an aptitude for perfecting both form and function, but above all else, making lives become a little easier, more convenient and safer. It is no coincidence that Gira switches and control systems, communication, multimedia and safety systems, are now being used in more than 40 countries around the world.

High quality German engineering skills and outstanding design capabilities are highly valued in the United Kingdom, especially in the high-end projects business”, explained Mark Booth, he continued, ‘‘Take London as an example, Gira fitted out the “Design Museum” that opened at the end of 2016 and the luxurious “Barts Square” residential development not far from St. Paul’s Cathedral and “Fenman House” in King’s Cross, which is part of the large urban renewal project to create a modern lifestyle quarter.“
He added, “Our aim is to develop business across the UK and Ireland and improve the awareness of the Gira portfolio including our Building Technology products using a variety of platforms. With our team, in future we want to additionally focus on the wholesale trade and significantly increase our presence in its outlets throughout the whole country.
