Debbie Eales has been a journalist for 41 years, having held senior editorial positions in the national, regional and trade press. Debbie joined Datateam Business Media Ltd in 2009, as editor of Printwear & Promotion. She was previously the group magazines editor at the KM Group, editing a portfolio of lifestyle and special interest titles.

Eddie Embleton

Eddie Embleton, managing director, Voltimum, UK & Ireland

Eddie joined Voltimum in 2014 having worked in media for over 15 years – in local media, national press, and digital media; before joining Voltimum he was running the digital arm of a publisher reaching over 15m users across the UK.  Eddie has grown Voltimum in 2015 with the addition of 8 new manufacturers who are taking advantage of the ever growing database of users – the largest electrical professional database in the UK.

Richard Pagett

Richard Pagett, managing director, Aria PR

Richard has been actively involved in the industry for over 17 years. As editor of Professional Builders Merchant and subsequently Professional Electrician he reported on industry and company news, product launches and regulatory changes. In 2007 he moved to become Group PR Manager at NICEIC, rising to External Affairs Director as the regulatory body grew and eventually merged with ELECSA. In 2013 he founded Aria Public Relations which now handles the publicity for some famous names across the construction industry.

John Sheppard

John has built a solid background in a number of market sectors, working with numerous blue chip companies and SME’s over the last 20 years. John (and his team of developers and designers) have successfully delivered over a 100 ecommerce websites in the last 5 years, in a wide range of market sectors. John said: “We believe that you must a have true understanding of a business, its market and more importantly its customer,s before you can start to look at giving them a great online presence.” Combining his passion and experience in business with his ever expanding knowledge of all things tech and online, John is delighted to have been asked to judge this year’s award for Best Wholesaler Website.  ‘‘Not all websites are created equal’’ and John is looking forward to casting a ‘critical’ eye.
